Sticky Feet has released EvoGrip for PEVs. This is a new grip tape alternative made from microplastics organized in grippy patterns that is advertised as weatherproof.
Currently riders can purchase EvoGrip pre-cut for stock Onewheel footpads as well as wide and aftermarket footpads for the Onewheel Pint, Pint X, GtT, and GT S-Series. There is also an EvoGrip Universal that allows riders to easily trim the shape to what they need. The regular version comes with a 1mm base, and there is also an EvoGrip Sport version that has a 3mm base for added cushion.
EvoGrip comes in a variety of bright colors as well as standard black. There is also an option for center inserts which can have premade or custom designs and colors.
Sticky Feet is targeting not just Onewheels, but also other PEVs like EUCs and electric scooters as well as any other surface that requires grip (RVs, boats, stairs, etc.).
Sticky Feet say they have plans to have more pre-cut designs soon for the Onewheel XR footpads and the FM FST Footpads. They have also hinted at additional items coming soon.
